Steve is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in mechanical engineering and is very active in the historic ship community. He serves as a Director of the Steamship Historical Society of America (SSHSA). Steve was appointed to the Board of Directors of Project Liberty Ship to fill a vacancy in 2006, and elected to the Board in 2007.
