Joe Colgan is a veteran of the U.S. Navy Armed Guard. After the war he worked for the National Brewing Company in Baltimore until his retirement. A member of Project Liberty Ship since 1988, Joe is the liaison with the Navy Armed Guard Veterans Association and is the principal organizer of the annual Veterans' Day Cruise events. He seved many years on the Board of Directors, both as a Director and later as Vice Chairman, until stepping down in 2011.
